Importing work items from tabular data?

Martha Newport (1121) | asked Dec 18 '08, 10:49 a.m.
Hello,

I am new to RTC and hoping to import existing requirements into work items. The existing requirements are in a lotus notes database, and I can export them to tabular data. Is there any way to import this data to RTC work items, assuming I have RTC fields in the work item for each of the fields in my current database?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Martha

Search the Jazz forums for "Bugzilla" and you'll find discussions of
importing work items from various sources. The upshot is that
without writing custom code to create work items from your input
table you'll have to massage your table into XML that would 'conform'
to the Bugzilla importer.
