Web app Export Time without "hours" or "mins"

Jamie Schena (531521) | asked Jun 06 '13, 2:52 p.m.
I need to be able to easily calculate the difference between my Estimate and my Corrected Estimate times when I export them to excel. However, the times show up as "4 hours 36 minutes", so I can't just do a simple calculation. Is there a way to fix this?

Hello Jamie,
You can create new calculated value field which returns the value of Estimate attribute in s and export the value of that attribute. You will find more information here: https://jazz.net/library/article/1003/#calc-values

I have also found an easy way to convert the string to a numerical value in Excel. For example, 4 hours 30 minutes will now read 4.5 (measured in hours).
