Searching for change sets within a component?

Sean Burke (3789137237) | asked May 09 '13, 5:58 p.m.
We have over 1000 change sets in a component, is there a quick search in the GUI to find a specific change set?   Would it be better do do this programmatically?

Sean,

in the Eclipse Client you will find a Change Set search in the GUI that allows you to filter for various things (creator, creation date, name of contained files, ...). There is a detailed description in the Jazz SCM FAQ.

Another way to improve searching a large number of change sets would be to connect the change sets to work items and use fulltext or queries to search for the appropriate tasks to which the change sets are linked.
