problem with discovery service?

Any idea what's causing this issue?  It happens frequently, often when I go to "Manage This Project".  Once it gets in this state the "Explore Project" link from the Edit Project area does not appear.

My work around is to click on the home icon to go to my personal dashboard (JTS) and this seems to fix the problem temporarily.  I'm using 4.0.1.

Hello Carson,
This is common issue. If you are using distributed architecture, check if you are able to reach jts server from your rtc server and vice versa. You cannot have any named proxy between these servers to communicate.
Also check if you have any proxy servers between client and server.
If you are using IHS check IHS logs why the connection from ccm does not reach jts.
