RTC - Find Stories that don't belong to any epic

S T (312) | asked Apr 17 '13, 4:28 p.m.
Hi...is there a way to search in RTC for Stories that don't belong to any Epic (in other words don't have a Parent)?
Thanks in advance!

Hi,

You can create a query with "Parent" in the condition and select "does not exist".

Please see the same question and answer from https://jazz.net/forum/questions/100642/how-can-i-query-for-work-items-that-do-not-have-a-parent

Thanks, the Parent option was "hidden" by default as when I tried to create a Filter, it showed on built-in fields. When I explicitly chose the Show links checkbox I saw the Parent option and that did the trick. Thanks!

Yes, on Eclipse client the "Show links" checkbox need to be selected. On web client, "Add Condition" dialog box shows all attributes.
