Excel import to RQM

Hello
We are currently importing from excel spreadsheets, Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Scripts into RQM using the excel to RQM import utility. A .cfg file has been set up. The Test plan and corresponding Test cases / scripts are able to import successfully when looking at around 29- Test Cases. However does anyone know if there are limits to the number of test cases / scripts that the utility can import. When trying 30 - 300 TestCases the utility fails with " Error sending to server to "<Test Plan name> " of Type Test Plan Does anyone know why it fails on a Test Plan name or have any ideas what the error is implying. (Note the .cfg has incorporated the Test Plan name and it has successfully imported 27 Test Cases ) Many thanks Rakhi |

hi Rakhi,
I have ever imported more than 1 thousand artifacts from one excel, so there shouldn't be a problem when importer 30-300 testcases.
if possible please attach the MSO2RQM_debug.log

It turns out that there was a duplicate Test Case Ref number which needs to be unique. Hence it would not load.
I guess if the error said duplicate test case ref or said a duplicate record would have helped. |
