Can I change RTC 4.x URI?

carlos roberto (21443030) | asked Mar 27 '13, 5:06 p.m.
My RTC server 3.0.1 was moved to another network, so the URI and IP were changed. I know that I can not change the 3.x URI, but my question is: can I upgrade RTC 3.0.1 to 4.0.2 and then change the URI? In short, the version 4.0.2 is able to accept that I change the URI if necessary?
Thanks.

This is the Server Rename capability that was introduced in 4.x.  Check out https://jazz.net/library/article/898 to make sure that you don't inadvertently break any integrations.  You will then want to consult the server rename guidance in the Infocenter at http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v4r0/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.jazz.install.doc%2Ftopics%2Fc_server_rename_plan.html.
