Does RTC have a wiki or blog component that accepts images and is searchable?

Hello,

We are new to RTC.  We currently use a wiki to store random information relevant to my team.  Does RTC have a wiki / blog component that i can easily edit and drag and drop pictures into and is searchable?

Even if it's a third party program that foots the bill, I would like to know.

Thanks,
Anthony

Are you also a Connections user? There is an integration between RTC and Connections that supports a rich social component.

No, RTC does not provide a wiki component ... we found that most customers had a wiki technology that they liked, and would just integrate that wiki into RTC using URL links (such as in work items).

Well, there is a Notes tab available on plans (and you can add additional ones) that use a wiki like syntax for text. And Dashboards have an HTLM component that's essentially a mini-web page. So depending on how much stuff and what you are trying to do with it, there may be a way to meet your needs (even though there isn't a true, separate wiki component).

Thanks for the quick responses.  I am looking to solve a problem where some of my team wants a wiki and some want to use word docs so they can drag and drop pictures easily.  I know we can do this with an embedded  wysiwyg editor on the wiki and that's the reason for the original question.

Did you look at the Windows Explorer Shell integration as a way to manage external docs and link them to work items or from wiki-like portions of release plans or team dashboards? https://jazz.net/blog/index.php/2012/02/06/introducing-the-rational-team-concert-shell-integration-for-windows-explorer/
