How does WAS or JTS interact with LDAP?

Jeremy Cardon (4146) | asked Mar 13 '13, 3:58 p.m.

My IT dept. is asking what we can expect from CLM 4.0.1 in regards to transactions with LDAP?  They are concerned of any scripts or other things that will cause harm to the active directory configuration, or the current LDAP setup.  As far as I can tell, this is a read-only query during authentication.  Can anyone give additional information on how this is used?

Thanks.

CLM only needs to bind as a read-only user in your LDAP server so you don't have to worry about it making changes to the objects stored in LDAP.
