What is it with Work Days?

Original install of the GA product, recently upgraded to 1.0.1. Brand new Project Area, brand new users created and added to brand new Team Area.

When I set it up on Friday, the users started with Sunday-Thursday as work days. Not sure why this is the default behavior. So I went through one user at a time, changing their work days to Monday-Friday. This morning I open a user to adjust Work Assignments and the Work Days are set Tuesday-Saturday. All of them. The machine was shutdown properly on Friday and restarted this morning (so nothing happened over the weekend).

I'm not sure if it is interesting to change them for all the users again today to see what they come up as tomorrow or what. It almost seems that if I had left them alone, they might have shifted to Monday-Friday automagically. I love RTC/Jazz but this aspect has been really frustrating (and this is not the first time I've had issues with this area nor the first time I've reported them).

FWIW, RTC and Jazz Standard 1.0.1, Windows XP, Derby DB.

Hi Millard,

Original install of the GA product, recently upgraded to 1.0.1. Brand
new Project Area, brand new users created and added to brand new Team
Area.

When I set it up on Friday, the users started with Sunday-Thursday as
work days. Not sure why this is the default behavior. So I went
through one user at a time, changing their work days to
Monday-Friday. This morning I open a user to adjust Work Assignments
and the Work Days are set Tuesday-Saturday. All of them. The machine
was shutdown properly on Friday and restarted this morning (so nothing
happened over the weekend).

I've opened defect 64536
(https://jazz.net/jazz/resource/itemName/com.ibm.team.workitem.WorkItem/64536)
to track this issue.

I'm not sure if it is interesting to change them for all the users
again today to see what they come up as tomorrow or what. It almost
seems that if I had left them alone, they might have shifted to
Monday-Friday automagically. I love RTC/Jazz but this aspect has
been really frustrating (and this is not the first time I've had
issues with this area nor the first time I've reported them).

We are sorry that we missed the previous post. However, you can always
open a defect by yourself in order to make sure that the issue gets
addressed adequately.
