Warning: Firefox ESR 10 will be automatically updated to ESR 17 since today

(Sorry it's not a question)

I just recognized, that Mozilla has decided to automatically deploy and install FF V17.0.3 ESR since today, if you have set "Automatica Update" or "Check for Update" and download the update. The update runs as soon as you press Help/About without any warning.

This may give major problems in older Jazz versions, as well as problems with V.4.0.1 within Web SCM.

If you want to stay on 10 ESR you have to DISABLE the update within FF Options.

Thanks Guido.

From an RQM perspecive, we do not officially support Firefox 17 ESR in the 4.0.2 RQM release. However, we will make a "best effort" to support it given the reality that many people may upgrade to FF17.  Here is one very detailed article describing how to run multiple Firefox versions: http://dottech.org/25506/how-to-tip-install-multiple-versions-of-firefox-to-test-before-upgrading-to-latest-release/ and here is an article from Mozilla themselves: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Testing_pre-release_versions.
