What kind of meta-model to use as source for custom transformations from DM-managed models?

 Hi!

Its nice to see that it is possible to run RSA built-in transformations using DM-managed models as a source.

However, is it possible to define (via Transformation Authoring) completely custom transformations that use repository-models as source?

A quick experiement I tried using eclipse.uml2 as the source meta-model, gave me "Source is invalid" when selecting a DM-model.

Alternatively, is it possible to export XMI from DM so that we can run custom transformations "manually"?
