Is OSLC API support for RDM 4.x (info retrieve & info create/update/delete) available?

 Hi

I want to know whether any open source API available for RDM (rhapsody design manage v 4.x) OSLC.

Especially I'm interested for API could modify the OSLC info (create/update/delete).

Hope my question is clear.

Thank you for your help in advance.

Best Regards

Hi Jean,

Please take a look at the wiki for the most recent information on the DM API.   https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/DesignManagement.

Look at the SDK (in progress) and REST API sections.

Hope that helps.

 Thank you, Daniel

I checked the link https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/DMSDK_REST
On [Resource Manipulation] part, it mentioned  "Full management of resources in Design Management is done with non-OSLC services."

(1) Does it mean there won't be pure OSLC API in the future for RDM performing resource modification/creation?
(2) Any on-going planning on lab side for providing user with API to perform RDM resource update/create/delete not just access?

By the way, when I trying to open [DM Rhapsody Client] hype-link on https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/DesignManagement, I was asked to add authentication info.
I put my jazz.net user account info, but the access was rejected, can you suggest how to fix this problem?

Thank you again.

Regarding 1 and 2), the OSLC AM API is not currently rich enough to perform all resource modifications/creation for Design Management.   I can't really comment on futures in the public forum but if you look through the workitems on the backlog you can probably figure out that the "models" OSLC service will gradually support more update/creation.

If you look at the examples you will note that you need to use several other services to manage editing sessions/change sets/...  for which OSLC equivalents do not yet exist.

The DM Rhapsody Client page has not been created, that's why you aren't able to access it.   All the SDK pages are undergoing significant update by Jim Conallen...so stay tuned.
