Using RTC 4.0.0.1 - I found that Time Spent (type = Time duration) value is replaced with 0 after Time Tracking tab is clicked.

steps I used:
- create PA using formal process template
- Open any WI presentation, then change Time spent attribute type from (Time Spent -> Time duration) and configure readonly to false or create new attribute (type > time duration)
- Save changes made on Process configuration and create WI
- enter any numbers in time spent field
- click on Time Tracking tab then go back to main tab

Expected result
- Value of time spent field should remain

Actual result
- Value of time spent field is now 0

Please note this problem does not occur when I click on other tabs, even custom tabs does not cause such issue.
The problem seem to lie with Time Tracking tab.

Is this a defect?

No. There is a mis-use here: when using FPM - Formal Project Management - the time spent attribute is derived from the data entered in the time sheet tab.
-> the time spent field MUST be read only.

For custom attribute - time spent should be not used  - This is confirmed by

Hello,

One is a defect-> won't fix.
The other, enhancement->Backlog.

Are you all going to fix this or what?

Hello - the defect was resolved as won't fix because this is a usage error
(the time spent attribute is derived from the data entered in the time sheet tab and should remain read-only)

Thanks
