In RQM, there is option to Run offline Test Case.  Export test case in excel, update result and again import in excel with test results so it will reflect in RQM. But as of now it allow only option to do for one test case. Can we have option in RQM to do for multiple test cases?

Hi Bharat,
As Brian pointed out, you can run multiple TCERs offline, but not multiple test cases.  (See step 1b: http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v4r0/topic/com.ibm.rational.test.qm.doc/topics/t_run_offline.html) If you need this functionality, you can submit an enhancement request.

Thanks Laura for link. For Offline execution at TCER level it creating excel for each of test case and each excel i have to import in RQM with results. Is there any other option where we can have all test cases in one excel and so we can import all test case with results at one time?

Note, this feature is not supported.

In RQM 4.0.1+, you can bulk upload resource XML to the RQM Reportable API (see https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/RqmApi#Bulk_Upload) if you have test case XML files.

 Hi everybody,

Is there is a way to "import from offline" the zip file created by selecting several TERs during "Run Offline", or to select several rqms files at the same time?
The goal is to open all the rqms files in one shout. I haven't test this in 4.0.1
We try to use these method in order to export Testcases & Testscripts from 3.0.1, modify them with macros in Excel, then  import modified TestCases and TestScripts in 4.0.1 by using a specific correlation file. We have 600 TestScripts, so open 600 time rqms files can be very laborious.
Thanks

Only the execution results (see http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v4r0/topic/com.ibm.rational.test.qm.doc/topics/t_run_offline.html).

As mentioned, you would have to write a script/code to use bulk upload capability in the RQM Reportable API (see https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/RqmApi#Bulk_Upload)

From the View Test Case Execution Records screen, you can select multiple TCERs and from the green "Play" icon select "Run Offline".

8 Years later and we still have the same problem.

If such functionality is important to you, submit an RFE. IBM Product Offering Management set the priorities for RFEs, not development. They review RFEs based on customer impact and number of customers asking for a feature.

There is an open ticket (68436 Improve offline test management support) with already P1-High priority. This ticket is open since 2012.
