Hide communities from end users

Sripriya Karimpuzhasriram (134752) | asked Dec 13 '12, 10:06 p.m.

Hello!

Recently, we archived all the assets within a community. We would like to hide this community from the end-users (consumers). It should be seen by the repository administrators only. Is this possible?

We are using RAM 7.5.0.2

Thanks,

Sripriya.

The best you can do is to remove all roles assignments in that community. That way they won't be able to access anything about the community other than the name.

There is no way to hide the name of the community showing up on the Communities page. But it won't be accessible. There still is the Request Permissions button but the admin can reject any such request when it occurs.
