Can we link RRC 4.0.1 to work items in RTC 3.0.x

I have an RTC v3 instance - and want to link work items back to an RRC v4.0.1 instance (either both on different JTS instances, or perhaps of the same JTS). If we have a different JTS for RTC v3 and RRC v4.0.1 - I assume this will just involve setting up the friendship. If we have a common JTS - this would mean we have the JTS at version 4.0.1 - RTC at v3.0.x and RRC at v4.0.1. Not sure if this make sense or will work. Can anyone see any flaws/problems? many thanks anthony |

Friending will work between RTC V3.0.1 and RRC V4.0.1, as they are both using OSLC V2 specifications.
I am not sure about using a common JTS but I suspect it will work with JTS at version 4.0.1 - RTC at v3.0.x and RRC at v4.0.1 but I have not tried it myself.
