When will RRDI and Rational insight migrate to Cognos Insight to replace Query- and Reporting Studio?
I attended a Cognos 10 training class recently to learn more about the technique underneat RRDI and Rational Insight.
Surprisingly they told us there, that the Reporting Studio and the Query Studio are deprecated in Version 10 of Cognos. But exactly this two tools, we are pushed by Rational to learn and to use for RRDI. Is Product Marketing aware of the new great features of Cognos 10? When will we have Cognos Insight available instead of Reporting Studio and Query Studio so we don't have to do "Studio hopping"? What about Active Reporting and the great Excel Integration? |

Guido Rational Insight has contained Cognos 10 (including Cognos Business Insight) since Insight 1.1 (Nov 2011). RRDI has contained Cognos 10 since RRDI 2.0 (June 2012).
For now, Report Studio and Query Studio are still part of Cognos 10 and fully supported, but the newer tools are also available if you want to use them.
