ERROR: The "DB2" database vendor is not supported

Karen Witt (1654) | asked Oct 13 '08, 11:51 a.m.
We just installed the 1.0.1 M3 server on a Linux Redhat 4.6 (IBM internal 1.4 open client) machine. When we are going through the Jazz Teamserver setup (custom setup), we are getting the following error:

Database connection could not be established. Resolve errors to continue.

ERROR: The "DB2" database vendor is not supported by the server license.

We are using db2 v9.5 and have successfully created the Jazz database and tables (at least, there were no error messages). Also, the Jazz Team Server status page shows that we are connected to the database. Everything appears to be correct, until we go to the Jazz Teamserver setup page mentioned above.

This machine did not have any previous version of the Jazz team server installed. We are configuring the machine for the first time.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

Thanks,
Karen Witt

Can you upload a screenshot of the License Management page from the

It turned out that somebody had installed a 1.0 GA key into her 1.0.1
server and that caused the server key to be put into a disabled state.
If anybody else sees this problem, make sure that you check the license
management page to make sure that there are no problems with your
license configuration.
