RTC Enterprise edition

Hi,

I was going through an article on Jazz and RTC (from a link on jazz.net). The following is quoted:

"RTC Enterprise (not yet available) will provide enterprise-scale security, provisioning, and governance, as well as versions of the ClearCase, ClearQuest, and BuildForge tools running on Jazz."

Can someone please clarify the following?

- what is enterprise-scale security and how it is different from the the standard edition?
- what exactly "provisioning" means here?
- There is already a governance in standard edition (in other lower flavors too). How will this be different in enterprise one?
- "ClearCase, ClearQuest, and BuildForge tools running on Jazz ..." -> This means CC,CQ and BF will be ported on to Jazz? So will there be dynamic views etc on JAzz in the enterprise edition?

Please let me know.

Thanks!

I believe this is all being worked on now - I would keep an eye on the builds and plans here on jazz.net to see what is happening.

There is a general move to incorporate Jazz capabilities into all the Rational products (including CC/CQ/BF) as well as build new tools. What capabilities will surface, when it will happen - I don't know. To get a flavour of what is happening - take a look at the keynotes from RSDC (including the UK version of the conference - Mike O'Rourke's talk here:
