Team concert licensing issues

Vibha Sinha (1643610) | asked Sep 28 '08, 8:04 a.m.
Hello

I have configured Team concert as follows -
Database: Jetty
Authentication - through IBM bluegroups

I got the permanent license from IBM extreme leverage.

How many maximum users can I configure in my bluegroup - should those be limited to 10 ?

Also, how do I delete a user which I created using jazz/admin (user management section)

Thanks
- Vibha

Hi Vibha,

I'm not a Jazz dev but I think I can answer your questions:

As is the case with many Jazz artifacts, you can not delete users, you can only archive them.

I know of no limitations of the # of users in a bluegroup within IBM. This is just an LDAP group.

Dan.

You wrote that you are using Jetty for your Database, but Jetty is an
application server, not a DB. I'm assuming you mean Derby, and with
Derby you can only use 10 users. If you would like to use more than 10
users you can use DB2.

You can archive users via:

https://your_server:9443/jazz/admin -> User Management -> Active Users

Search your user

When you hover over the user, an icon appears on the right of the user (close to the user ID column). By clicking on it, you archive the user
