What is the difference between 'Export to Work Item Template' option in the Authoring perspective and 'Create a Jazz work item template' option in the Team Process perspective in RMC?
Hi All, What is the difference between the 'Export to Work Item Template' option available in the Authoring perspective in the Process Editor (right click on Delivery Process -> Export to Work Item Template in the Work Breakdown Structure tab) and 'Create a Jazz Work Item Template' option available in the Team Process perspective? Is the first option allows to save the work item template XML to the local drive and the later option helps to deploy the work item template in the Jazz server? Is that the only difference?

You are close Sadaat:
from the Authoring perspective , the function creates the work item template and saves it as an xml file to a path location that you designate. You would need point to this path and import the work item template into a project area using RTC .
But the other option, creating a work item template from the Team process perspective, saves you the steps of exporting and importing, and simply adds the work item template directly to an existing RTC project area of your choosing.
