The ITEM_STATE row with itemId...contained an item that references the predecessor state

Mike Shkolnik (9809161143) | asked Aug 28 '12, 1:25 p.m.
repotools -verify generates the following error:

Verifying items present in the "com.ibm.team.repository.systemtables" component.

The ITEM_STATE row with itemId = [UUID _nrDvMff4Ed-UIO1NxV0MOw], keyId = [UUID _n0xE0Pf4Ed-UIO1NxV0MOw], and itemType = com.ibm.team.repository#RepositoryRoot contained an item that references the predecessor state [UUID _ntBeEPf4Ed-UIO1NxV0MOw], but that state could not be found in the DB. There are no states older than this state, so the history seems to have been truncated.

What does it mean? How can I fix it?

You can ignore this error. RepositoryRoot object is usually recreated when you import the tar file. In 1.x to 2.x migration, we made a mistake while fixing up the previous states of repository root.

You can ingore the error. this will not cause any adverse effects on your server
