Adding custom attachments to RQM execution results of RFT scripts
Hi
I was wondering if it is possible to add links to say files (log files/xml files or other type of files) within the execution result of an RFT script executed via RQM? In the execution result, it shows pass fail verification points then at the end two hyperlinks that point to the Rational Functional Tester Simple/Detailed Logs. I basically created a RFT script that executes a soapUI test and logs custom verification points. But would like to attach the soap Request/Response XML files as links to where my verification points FAIL. rather than just dumping the entire request response in the RFT Logs. Regards, |

There is a Notes section in an execution result. Attachments can be added there.

I would like Automatically add an attachment to the Execution log similar to theCLA (Command Line Adapter) as described in this article
https://jazz.net/library/article/809/#AttachFiles
There was another posted question where it was mentioned as an enhancement request. Is this still in the works?

Re #3: RQM 4.0 added support for specifying additional logs/attachments for execution results generated by the command line adapter. An enhancement request has been submitted to implement a similar solution for the RFT adapter, but I do not know when or if it will be added.
I couldn't find the Enhancement request is this still in the works?

Hi, is there any update on this ?
I have the same need. Want to attach custom log files to the execution result |
Just to register the link. I've just created an RFE for this in Developer Works
