LDAPNightlySyncTask not running properly

Hi, all.

I thought I would post this separate from the thread I just updated because it is a different issue altogether. I am running Jazz/RTC 1.0 using DB2 9.5 and WAS 6.1.0.15 and LDAP user repository set up. I have changed the LDAPNightlySyncTask to run once an hour (3600 seconds). When I start up Jazz for any reason, the task doesn't run at app server start. It doesn't run an hour from app server start. It runs an hour after my first login to the admin console. For example, I start Jazz at 7:30 AM, I log into the admin console at 10:30 AM, the first task run is at 11:30 AM. This doesn't sound like normal behavior.

Any ideas on what is going on here?

Thanks.
Chris

I think the scheduler starts up after the first request is made to a running
server. Do you know if there were any requests between 7:30 and 10:30?

Hi, Ritchie.

No, there were no other requests between those times.

If you ask me (and nobody has... ;-) ), I think Jazz should be set up to initiate the task at startup and not after the first access.
