What's the relationship between RTC and other Rational tools
RTC has already includes all necessary tools to complete a project. But, I think Rational also has some key products. Such as RSA, etc.
So, how many featues will RTC include in the nearby future? Will RSA and some other similar software sunset? |

One needs to distinguish "a tool you can buy from IBM" from "the
technology on which a tool is implemented". RTC and RSA are two different tools you can purchase from IBM. They will continue to be sold and supported as separate offerings from IBM. On the other hand, there is the "Jazz platform". The Jazz platform is primarily designed to allow for better integration between tools (but also for increased scalability, easier administration, etc.) New tools from IBM will be build directly on the Jazz platform(RTC is the first such tool ... Rational Quality Manager and Rational Requirements Composer are two new tools that are currently in beta and soon will be released). Existing tools from IBM (such as RSA) will be "infused" with Jazz technology over time. So in particular to get RSA functionality, you would buy RSA, but over time, RSA will be better integrated with other tools, more scalable, etc, due to the infusion of Jazz technology. There are cases where two of our tools will overlap in functionality (because the users of those tools have common use cases). Part of the infusion of Jazz technology will include the increased use of shared components between those tools.
