CLM V4 with DB2 : RUNSTATS is a part of CLM scheduled jobs?

Hello,

Just wondering if CLM schedules some jobs to run "runstats" for DB2 databases used by CLM (jts/ccm/qm/dw)?

I got warning from DB2 server which indicated that runstats is needed on those databases. It sounds like the JTS server does not have any runstats job scheduled?

I am also wondering if the scheduled data collection jobs on JTS server run DB2's runstats? If so, not sure why I got the warning from DB2 which asks/recommend me to run the runstats.

Thanks and Regards

 Hi
I would be very surprised if any of the CLM products are scheduling reorgs or runstat jobs. These are are database maintenance tasks that should be performed by a DBA when they see that it is required. Since these types of tasks can slow a system down, or in the case of a reorg be performed when the system is unavailable, they are not things that ought to be automagically scheduled.

CLM does not schedule Runstats.  You need to talk to you DBA about setting up the DB2 Automatic Maintenance or creating your own script to handle the Runstats/Reorgs.

Keep in mind there are some tables that CLM creates in DB2 that are not good for the Automatic Maintenance and will need to be excluded using the filters.

What are those tables? Great if you can list them.

So far I've found 'PROCESS_CHANGE_EVENT_CHECK', 'BUILD_ENGINE_ACTIVITY', 'APP_CREDS', and 'JAUTH_TOKEN' do not work well with Auto Maintenance.
