Importing Jazz Workshop project (Squawk)

Harry Koehnemann (30125238) | asked Aug 22 '08, 7:54 p.m.
I want to import the Squawk project from the Jazz Workshop as a populated sandbox for a development team to play. The workshop provides DB2/Derby zip files, which I beleive would wipe out my existing repository. I could export Squawk from another repository with repotool, but it doesn't support project-specific export/import. So I think when I imported 1) all the exported projects would be imported (not so bad), but 2) all the existing projects would be wiped out (very bad).

Thoughts anyone?

Many thanks,
Harry

Harry, you are pointing out a general issue with project level

import/export. Here are some suggestions.

1. Host squawk on a separate server.
2. Create the Sample Junit project on your current repository. This can
be initiated from the rich client via the Welcome page.
