CLM server upgrade to 4.0 will upgrade license to 4.0?

Interactive guide ( http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v4r0/topic/com.ibm.jazz.install.doc/topics/roadmap_clm_upgrade.html ) says " Learn about licensing. You must purchase new licenses for version 4. Version 4 licenses will be compatible with version 3 applications, but version 4 applications will not work with version 3 licenses."

I need some formal answer on this before upgrade.

I've got the answer on this.

You need to get 4.0 license from License Key Center.
And the document on upgrade will be fixed accordingly.
