Rational Team Concert global ignore rule

Enrico Savini (15911) | asked Jun 18 '12, 4:23 a.m.

Hi,

I read a lot of posts about this topic but definitively there's a way to edit the RTC global default ignore rule (BIN folder and .class extension)?

Thanks in advance.

Enrico

Hi Enrico,

this is described in the Jazz SCM FAQ under section "How do I share a file that's ignored by default?" More details about the .jazzignore file in general can be found here in the documentation.

Maybe, this is fine and is the workspace-level specification (client side)... I was wondering if you can set at server side level and so deployable as default to every project....

is the answer "No"?

Thanks.

Enrico

The answer is "No". But running a script to add that to the root directory of all of your shared projects would be trivial.
