How to add context sensitive help to a customized schema?

We want to be able to provide form guidance and field level help to our community but cannot find any guidance on how to do this. Any ideas welcome.

When you say "customized schema", what are you referring too? Are you
adding a custom workitem attribute?

yes we have designed a schema for Maintenance related work with work items such as service requests and additional fields. I want to be able to add help to them but can't find anything to guide me

There is currently no support for adding documentation to a custom attribute, please open an enhancement request.
