Using rich text capabilities in RTC

I would like to enable and disable rich text capabilities in comments and discussions fields in RTC. Is there any option to enable or disable the rich text in RTC.

Moreover I would like to know which formatting can be used in RTC like bold, italic,...
Is it only possible to use short keys to format texts or is there any palette displayed in RTC on which you can select formatting.

Thanks a lot in advance for helping in this topic.

The rich text features for the description and comment fields of work items cannot be turned on or off.  They are always available.

The rich text features are not very rich.  As far as I know, it's just bold, italics, and hyperlinks.
