IBM Notes ID is NOT supported in Email Feature in Asset page

Email Feature in Asset is giving "Illegal whitespace in address" error message,
when we provide Lotus notes ids (bakiyaraj Arul/India/IBM).

It works, when we use IBM intranet email id (bakiyaraj.arul@in.ibm.com).

Will Asset Email Feature support Lotus Notes email id also ?

The current version of RAM does not support Lotus Notes IDs and there are no existing plans to support that format.
