RTC Login problem

Hi,
User is added to jazz groups and is given a Developer License. He is able to log into server using the web client. But when he tried logging in using the Eclipse Client, he is getting an error.

"Failed to contact the repository <servername>, Try again?"

Irrespective of the number of times he has logged out and logged in, he continues to see this error. What could be the possible reason for this?

Hi Maria,

are there any proxies you have to configure in Eclipse?

I would carefully check the connection string is really valid. For example if the connection string is https://server:port/jts and not https://server:port/ccm or https://server:port/jazz or if IT uses https://server:port/ccm/web you could have this issue.

Other than that you could look into the error log or the workspace .metadata folder to check the logs.
