Has anyone been able to successfully import source code and history from Microsoft Visual Source Safe directly into RTC SCM?

I have found several soursafe to SVN conversion tools but have not found any of them very useful against a large and deep history.

My advice would be to leave the history in Source Save and to share/import only the baselines you need to develop against. You can keep source save up if you need access to older data. Although keeping the history is a typical request, the approach of leaving history behind is often used in the end and appears to be satisfying the needs.
