Project Timelines and Iterations (In Process Template)

Hi All,
How are the requirement artifacts associated to the project Timelines or iterations? and what is the applicable usage?

Thanks,
Valli.

Hi Valli,

In short, they aren't. RRC doesn't use the timelines or iterations. (In RRC 4.0, you can use them to define different access controls for different iterations, but I'm not sure how common that usage would be).

I think we could be a bit clearer here.

The RRC analyst license includes access to requirements (which are supplied by in the RM application) and work items and planning (which are supplied by the CCM application).

Links are used to relate requirements and work items.

Can you please point us to additional materials or information that shows how to link the related requirements (in RRC) to work items ? this is an urgent need for our org

To create a link between a requirement and a work item it's as easy as going to the RRC sidebar, finding the links panel, and choosing "create link" (or doing something similar when you start from the work item system and link to a requirement). You can link requirement collections to development plans and vice versa.

1. There is some info here: https://jazz.net/projects/clm/features/clm_traceability

2. There are some tutorials in the information center; I assume there is one that covers this topic. If not there is other information about it

3. And you can find RRC videos on youtube that show this.

In addition to tutorial mention by Daniel, there is specific tutorial in the help
