About typing double byte words in the description field

I'm using RTC v3.0.1.

It seems that the behavior of the description field is strange when we use double byte.

1. From Web UI, enter Japanese in the description field
2. click "preview"
3. click "edit" to edit the previous one, but it turned out to be cleared or changed!!

For example,
I entered in the description field Clicked "preview" and then "edit" againWord had been entered in the description field changed into

The problem does not exist with English Char.
In addition, this problem is reproduced in Firefox and not IE.

Any Help??

your issue sounds like similar to https://jazz.net/jazz/resource/itemName/com.ibm.team.workitem.WorkItem/177666
which will be fixed in 4.0

You may confirm by trying with 4.0RC0:
https://jazz.net/downloads/rational-team-concert/milestones/4.0RC0
