How to RSA 8.0.4 with RTC 4.0 RC0

Hello.
Was anyone able to run RSA 8 with RTC 4 already? Is it a matter of
switching the Java version?

I reported this defect, but so far there is no response and I am stuck:
201157: RTC rich client broken in RSA 8.0.4,
