Edit Test Script Template

Chris Palmer (251112) | asked Mar 09 '12, 10:16 a.m.
Is it possible to edit the RQM test script template so that an extra column can be added?

As well as the Step, Description and Expected Results columns the project would like to add another column and save this as a template.

Any suggestions would be appreicated.

Thanks

No, that is not supported, to add extra column in manual script steps.
However you can add custom attribute at Test Script level
Click "Project Properties -> Custom Attributes -> Test Script Attributes" to define custom attributes for Test Script. You must be logged in as project area administrator to see this option. Once defined, whenever user create a script, you will see option to provide value for custom attribute defined. As I said this is at script level.

How do you go about removing the custom attribute field if it is no longer required?

you can not remove it for individual script, but for all from same Project properties where you defined custom attribute

Hi Chris,
There is good news, RQM 4.0 will provide linking from Manual Script step to requirement. Hope that helps you.
