RTC 3.0.1 client install on STS 2.8.1 based on Eclipse 3.7.1
I have a customer who is experiencing difficulty while installation RTC 3.0.1 client on Spring Toolsuite 2.8.1 based on Eclipse indigo (3.7.1).
Client OS : Redhat Linux 5 or Windows XP both 64 bit
- While customer attempts to install RTC client as an addon to STS, IBM installer manager generates
"Validation of Eclipse installation configuration failed because it has unsatisfied bundle constraints - Details -> Required bundle "org.eclipse.epp.usagedata.gathering" not found for bundle "org.eclipse.m2e.usagedata"
- Customer already followed https://jazz.net/library/article/708 and it shows the same error message.
- Also customer downloaded the latest version or RTC client (RTC-Client-p2Repo-3.0.1.2.zip) and attempted to install on the top of STS 2.8.1 (help -> install new software), but same error message is displayed.
Is there any way we can bypass or overcome this issue and continue on with installing RTC client?
