Hi,

Please tell us the steps of deploying a new version of process template in a project area where already an existing version of the process template is deployed.

Right now we are copying/pasting the content of the new process template in the Process Configuration Source tab in RTC. THX.

Hi,

you have to manage the process in the project area as you do today. A template, once deployed, can not be deployed again into a project area.

If you run many project areas and want them to use a common process in 3.x you can create a project area that uses process sharing and allows other project areas to use the process. Other project areas can share this project areas process, Changes done here are shared in the sharing project areas.

You can create new project areas from modified templates and allow process sharing. You can change the project area in team areas that use the process. Once all project areas are sharing the new process you can archive the old project area that allowed using the old template.
