RAM 7.5 setup page can not finish
After we finished processing upgrade one environment from RAM 7.2 to 7.5.0.2, it can not open our RAM URL with default port, will report the error like "404 not found", "requested URL /cloud/enterprise/ram/ was not found on this server".
But for the port 9443 it is no problem to open RAM application. We have checked IHS server, it is no problem. But in RAM setup page, if we click "finish" button, it always open a new window for the same URL with "start using Rational Asset Manager": https://usvprx032ccxra.ccmp.ibm.lab/cloud/enterprise/ram/admin/communities.faces, it will also report "404 not found error". So we can not finish the setup page. |

Hi,
First before you worry about getting access through the default port you need to get RAM configured. That way you won't have questions as to whether RAM is working right or not. First go to ram using the 9443 port and let it take you to the configuration page to complete the configuration. Once the configuration is done then you can worry about the port. Now as to the port problem when you get the 404, do you get the generic 404 page not found or do you get the RAM 404 page not found? The RAM 404 page not found still has the colored banner for RAM across the top. If that is the case then you are not sending the correct URL's into RAM, or your IHS is perverting them in some way. If instead you get something like: ------ Not Found The requested URL /asdf was not found on this server. IBM_HTTP_Server at XX-ram.XXX.XXXXX.com Port 443 ------- then that is a configuration problem between your IHS and WAS installation and not a RAM problem. Thanks, Rich |
