RTC to RAM integration

When artifact is created in RTC and version controlled multiple times in RTC and the a final version is than placed into RAM,does that final version in RAM have link back to the document in RTC where the history resides or does the artifact now reside in both places.  Along the same line,  if your document is part of baseline or snapshot in a stream and that stream is published to RAM is there a link back to the document and history in RTC or does the document physically reside in RAM with no relation to the document in RTC.

RAM always contains a copy of artifacts. When an asset is submitted/updated using the Eclipse RAM rich client UI and the contents of the asset are from RTC a baseline is created at submission time and the artifacts are annotated with what baseline they came from. So when an asset is browsed through details web page one can hover over the artifact on the content page and it will tell you what baseline the artifact came from.

But, if the asset is now modified from the web whatever artifacts are modified/added will no longer have the annotation because they were added manually.

Streams are not published to RAM. Only assets through some web submission or through the Eclipse RAM client.
