Hi,

how to display the stream or workspace in which a baseline or snapshot was created ?

A snapshot can be created by right clicking a stream or workspace and the selecting New->Snapshot from the drop down menu.
Does RTC record the stream or workspace, and if so how can it be displayed later when everyone has long forgotten which stream or workspace was used to create the snapshot from).

Same question applies to baselines.

To my knowledge, no record is kept of which stream/workspace in which a
baseline/snapshot was created. Why would you care?

Hi Geoff,

two cases where it would be useful to know the creation context or a baseline or snapshot.

The first case is to limit the deployment of baselines that have
been created in a "blessed" release stream.

The second case is to gain a better understanding how a specific baseline or snapshot came into existance. Eg: was it in the context of a bugfix or in the context of the current release ?
