Can RTC work directly with CVS? I know that there is an importer for CVS but cannot find any indication if RTC can integrate with CVS as it does with Git.

We usually distinguish three kinds of "connectors": "bridges", "importers", and "synchronizers".

By "working directly with CVS", I assume you are asking for a CVS bridge.
While there is both an importer and a bridge for GIT, there is currently only an importer for CVS.
