Limiting the size of change set?

Hi All,

Is it possible to limit the size of change set? We want to prevent user from checking a huge amount of files into system accidentally.

Makson

I've submitted work item 194878 for this. In particular, the
description says:

We want to be able to independently restrict per user:
- the total size of the change set content
- the number of files in the change set.
In addition, for each type of restriction, we would like to specify:
- whether it is advisory (generate a warning dialog, from which the user
can continue)
- whether is is mandatory (generates an error dialog, from which the
user cannot continue).

I've also linked a set of related requests to this work item.
Please feel free to add a comment to this work item indicating your
interest/support, if this isn't what you had in mind, a comment
indicating what you'd like to change.

Cheers,
Geoff

I don't think there's a central control mechanism but if you go to Team Concert Eclipse Client and browse to Windows->Preference you will see Team->JazzSourceControl, you can make some limitations there.

I think the central control mechanish is what we need, one of our users just checked about 200,000 files into his workspace and delivered it, and then system halt ....
