Does RQM have a password reset capability?

Hi.

If a user forgets their password, is there any way for an administrator to reset it?

You can change your own password but you have to be logged on to do that.

I don't really want to have to archive a user and recreate that user.

Thanks.

Yes. Only users with administrator permissions can edit other user records. Administrators in the JazzAdmins repository group can also reset user passwords; the automatically generated password is emailed to the user.

Hi David,

Please reference 1443000 Resetting a lost password in Rational Quality Manager.

Cheers,
