Plan view does not truncate text, displays blank

Laura Hammond (2175) | asked Jan 10 '12, 5:26 p.m.
We recently upgraded from RTC v2. In the plan view in RTC v2 when the attribute text was longer than the display field in the plan view it trucated the text and displayed the first x characters + "...".

In RTC v3 if the attribute text is longer than the display area it shows as blank. Can we change this?

With current version of Chrome this is working.
It's a FireFox issue since 7.0.

(Cross the Finger, Google will not introduce this "Enhancement" to Chrome.)

Thanks for the assistance with this issue. Good to know Chrome works for now :)

I also found that IE 8 works for everything except HTML attributes.

Tested today with 4.0M7 and Firefox 10.0.1.

Works fine!

So at least in next reease of RTC we have a solution.

Guido
