Is there any way to bulk upload artefacts?

We have a large number (thousands) of existing artefacts stored in various formats (PDF, PowerPoint, etc) that we would like to store in our RRC instance. The only way we've found to upload these artefacts is via the "Upload" context menu, which only allows you to select a single file at a time.

Does RRC have any mechanism that allows you to do a bulk upload of a number of artefacts, and specify the relevant default values (folder, artefact type, etc)?

I guess there's no way to "bulk upload" in RRC 3.x, but in RRC 2.x you may drag and drop multiple files to upload if I am not mistaken.

Have you tried this using V3.0.1.1? This enhancement has been marked as resolved:

Thank you for the link; we're currently on vanilla 3.0.1 but I'll look to upgrade so that we can get access to this functionality.

I checked the 3.0.1.1 and 3.0.1.2 releases and this functionality is not present. I've added a comment to the work item asking someone to comment on the functionality that was added in 3.0.1.1.

Per the comments in the work item, this functionality is available in 3.0.1.1 via drag and drop. I tested this on my 3.0.1.1 server with FireFox and it seems to work well.

I'll check that functionality in 3.0.1.1, I upgraded the system in one of my client but in my work space I still have 3.0.1, I'll upgrade mine too :)

Thank you very much

I found out that drag and drop is not working if you try to drop the files to a RRC folder. You should drop the files in the "View All Artifacts" panel which is in the middel of the screen.
