Is there a way to retrieve build history of those RTC builds that have been removed? For example, if my build definition X is set to keep 10 good builds and 10 bad builds, once a build is "expired" and removed, can I still get a record of such build ever existed? I just need to number of builds and not the result or other records associated to the builds.

Not sure but you can do this with a simple report in birt using the BUILD_SNAPSHOT and the build results.
